COMMISSIONERS APPROVE PROMOTIONS PRESENTED BY STATE POLICE DIRECTOR

The Arkansas State Police Commission has approved the recommendations for promotion of three State Troopers to the ranks of lieutenant and sergeant.  The promotions were presented for consideration to the commissioners by Colonel Stan Witt, Director of the Arkansas State Police.

Sergeant Ron Casey, 47, of Sheridan, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and will assume new duties in Little Rock within the administrative offices of the State Police Highway Patrol Division.  Lieutenant Casey is a twenty-two year veteran of the department and most recently was assigned as post supervisor to the Highway Patrol Division, Troop K.

Sergeant Charles Hubbard, 40, of Gassville, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and will be assigned to State Police Highway Patrol Division, Troop I, as assistant Troop Commander.  Troop I is headquartered at Harrison.  Lieutenant Hubbard, an eighteen year veteran of the department, most recently has been assigned in Baxter County as a patrol post supervisor.

Corporal Clayton Richardson, 51, of Camden was promoted to the rank of sergeant and will assume new duties as a post supervisor in Highway Patrol Division, Troop F headquartered at Warren.  Sergeant Richardson, an eighteen year veteran of the department most recently has been assigned to patrol duties in Ouachita County.
