Arkansas State Police Corporal Frank McMillion, 48, of St. Francis County, was promoted to the rank of sergeant today.
The Arkansas State Police Commission approved the recommendation of Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director, to promote McMillion. The promotion occurred in Little Rock during a regular monthly meeting of commissioners.
Sergeant McMillion is a twenty-three year veteran of the department and most recently has been assigned to patrol duties in the department’s Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, headquartered at Forrest City. He will assume new duties immediately as a Troop D, post supervisor.
